Our recent stay at Heather Cottage was fantastic. The property was fully equipped and provided us with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We were impressed by the attention to detail, with everything being fully stocked and the concept of replenishing items for future guests to enjoy. The cottage had a warm and inviting feel, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, on the edge of the village, providing a quiet atmosphere despite being on a main road. It was the ideal base for exploring both the village and the surrounding areas. We particularly loved trying the delicious Bakewell pudding. The little extras in the kitchen and living room, along with the knowledgeable information folder, were thoughtful touches. The cottage was also very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
While our overall stay was outstanding, there were a few minor issues. We had trouble getting the sky to work as there were no clear instructions provided.

The cottage was like someone's house, with random opened food and used razors in the shower. Loved it! Also, the fully stocked kitchen, soundproof windows, and quality bed linen were awesome. Will definitely recommend!
Absolutely nothing to complain about! Perfect stay!

The location was ideal, just a short walk into town. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was a great convenience. the TV was connected to Netflix, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. the owners were extremely helpful and always quick to respond to any questions we had. the linens were of superb quality and the beds were incredibly comfortable.
Parking was a bit problematic as it was difficult to find a spot on the street near the cottage. We also had concerns about the safety of our rental car.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Heather Cottage in Bakewell and it was a delightful experience. The cottage had a warm and inviting feel, making it the perfect home away from home. The location was fantastic, situated on the edge of the village and surprisingly quiet despite being on a main road. It was the ideal base for exploring the village and the stunning surrounding areas. The cottage was well-equipped with everything I needed, from soundproofed windows to quality bed linen and a well-stocked kitchen. The attention to detail was evident, with little extras such as toiletries and a herb selection provided. Plus, the cottage had all the entertainment options I could ask for, including Sky and Netflix.
While my stay at Heather Cottage was fantastic overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. there was no provision for recycling disposal, which meant I had to find alternative options.

The location is ideal, just a short walk into the center of town by a lovely stream. the cottage itself is clean and comfortable, with beds that feel like marshmallows and high, quality bedding. the kitchen is well, equipped and the living room has a cozy atmosphere. There are also plenty of little extras provided, like soundproofing, soaps, toiletries, and even a well, stocked kitchen with a selection of herbs.
There were no clear instructions for getting the Sky TV working and there was a lack of plug sockets near the dressing area in one of the bedrooms.

The cottage exceeded my expectations, offering more space than I anticipated. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing me to easily prepare a proper dinner. The location was ideal, just a short walk from charming cafes, shops, and restaurants. Additionally, I appreciated the selection of board games provided, especially the classic Monopoly.
There were a couple of downsides to my stay. I had trouble opening some of the windows, and the stairs were quite creaky, causing noise throughout the cottage.
